Having trained with Sensei Johnston for a number of years I was familiar with his style and quality of teaching and so knew these lessons would be very worthwhile.

Sensei Johnston’s extensive knowledge, adaptable approach and genuine interest in his student’s development meant that these lessons were extremely beneficial to myself whilst also being enjoyable.

The approach taken was very in-depth. Prior to the classes we identified areas that I wished to focus on and also areas that needed improvement, and from this a tailored plan was created. This ensured that I got the utmost value from every session, and I always left with a clear view of what to work on ‘in my own time’.

I would therefore have no hesitation in recommending private tuition, as it provides instruction which is unique to the individual, whilst always being of the very highest standard.
